hi pumpkins!

sorry i've been m.i.a for so long! my sister got married yesterday and even though i epically failed at remembering my camera, it was an occasion i'll never forget. so fun!

i have to leave tomorrow though, which i'm really bummed out about.

anyway, here's a mellow music post to tie you over until i snap some outfits.

hi friends.

i'm leaving for toronto this comming saturday for my big sister's wedding! its going to be a busy week and i won't have much time for fashion updates (not that i've been very good at it lately).

i'll try my best to keep you entertained but i think this little break will be good for me.

i still love you all. you all make my days shine when i know people read and comment on the silly things i say.

tah tah for now, but it won't be long.

inspired by lauren's post over at iliketoplaydress-up i was inspired to create this little bracelet monster. i love how easy it was to chain together with some careful measurements and a little labour. i'm really pleased with the result and needed to show it off a.s.a.p!

boy meets girl

sorry i've been so lame about posting these days. i was super busy running to edmonton again to visit the boyfriend and attend a wedding (such a fun excuse to play dress-up!). as per usual, i did some shopping and found the PERFECT pair of fall boots/shoes and the PERFECT blazer that i've been trying to find for weeks (pictures of the to come soon). 

here are the shoes:

look closely and you can see that they have a dark, wooden wedge heel, with cutouts on the top of the foot and peeptoes. what really got me was the different sized straps lacing them up to the ankle. brilliant!

silly boy had to jump in with me, literally.

p.s. have you ever seen a movie that was so good, and so sad, that you just wanted to sit in the theatre after everyone left and be alone so you could cry and cry and cry over what you just watched? i just got home from my sister's keeper and it was like a pipe burst out of my eyes. yeesh.

p.p.s. just bought this dress (in black) to wear to a wedding next weekend. i'm really excited about it. usually i don't buy much from american eagle or other mall chain stores but i have no money and anything i already owned was either too fancy or too casual. i'm pairing it with some equally inexpensive and totally killer black ankle boots.
